Vocal Techniques

Is your voice like a flute or more like a clarinet? Do you belt with your chest voice, sing nasally  or sing with your resonant "head voice"?  How can you increase your vocal projection and dynamic range?  Can you sing really low as well as high in the stratosphere, or is your voice more comfortable in the middle ranges of pitch?
Vocal technique is about understanding the physiology of singing and the mechanics of creating sound, and applying subtle muscular changes to change how your voice sounds.

Your larynx and vocal cords can be trained to change, and to make sounds in new ways. And it's really fun to learn vocal techniques in a group with other people on the same journey.
